The Faculty of Mechanical Engineering (FEMEC) of the Federal University of Uberlândia (UFU) is responsible for conducting 3 undergraduate and 1 graduate courses on a regular basis. The undergraduate courses related to it are: mechanical engineering, mechatronics engineering and aeronautical engineering, with the postgraduate course aimed at training masters and doctors in mechanical engineering.

On a non-regular basis, the unit develops specialization courses such as: welding engineering and work safety engineering, which occurs when there is an external demand and when the unit is in an internal condition to offer them.

FEMEC is located on 2 UFU campuses, namely Campus Santa Mônica and Campus do Glória, both in the city of Uberlândia, MG, Brazil.
